Is there a way I can e-commune with the Maori peoples of New Zealand, becoming an honorary member?

I'm really curious about the Maori people of New Zealand and would be honored to take part in their tribal rituals, and even become an honorary member of their tribe. However, I don't want to have to travel to New Zealand from my home in Northern California to do it. Does anyone know if I can just mail the tribe money and in return they would send me some of their traditional clothing? I just think a picture of me in traditional Maori garb would look really nice on my holistic healing center's webpage.
