Can I sue a Pharmaceutical Company?

I got Neuropathy from taking a fairly new medication called ZYVOX. I've had the neuropathy for 2 years now and my legs and feet still feel numb. The medication cost my insurance $5000 every time I had to refill it and I was on it for 6 months. I wasn't going to sue but I had terrible pain and was bed ridden for 4 months and had to go on medical leave from work, doctors overmedicated me with every pain killer imaginable until the pain was relieved from holistic therapy. I still have the numbness in my legs and feet and I'm going on two years now. Would I have a case if I sued the drug company?
